The brief
Rebuild Cedarvale's ageing WordPress site as a fast, calm website that helps people choose the right retreat program, and move their bookings off a platform that was shutting down.
Cedarvale has been helping people rest and recover for over 30 years, with retreats in New South Wales and Victoria. Their old site was a WordPress and WooCommerce build that had become hard to update, and the platform they used for bookings was closing.
We rebuilt the site from scratch in Next.js. Each retreat location gets its own landing page, programs, gallery and contact details, and visitors can switch between locations at any time.
The programs pages set the 4, 5 and 12 night stays side by side, so guests can compare what's included before they pick up the phone. All copy and images live in one content layer, so the team can update the site without touching the design.
Alongside the rebuild, we researched booking systems, recommended one that suits how a small retreat actually runs, and handled the whole migration for them.
